Voluntary Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity coverage is offered through UnitedHealthcare. These plans pay a cash benefit directly to you when a covered event happens — on top of your medical plan — to help with costs your major medical coverage may not, such as deductibles, travel, or everyday bills while you recover. You pay for the coverage you choose through payroll deductions.

Accident Insurance
Pays a fixed cash benefit when you’re injured in a covered accident — for things like emergency care, fractures, dislocations, and follow-up treatment. The benefit is paid to you regardless of what your medical plan covers.
Critical Illness Insurance
Pays a lump-sum cash benefit if you’re diagnosed with a covered serious illness, such as a heart attack, stroke, or cancer. You can use the money however you need — from medical bills to household expenses.
Hospital Indemnity Insurance
Pays a fixed cash benefit if you’re admitted to the hospital and for each day of a covered stay. It helps offset the costs that add up during a hospitalization, separate from your medical plan.
